Pregnancy Test Urine Test

Difference between a pregnancy test and a urine pregnancy test blood?
I just went to the obstetrics and gynecology today your pregnancy test because my period skipped twice, but all my home tests were negative. The nurse told me that testing of a urine test and blood did not differ in sensitivity to detect hCG. I took a blood test anyway because I heard that these are more accurate. What are the facts?
Blood tests can detect HCG levels within a week of pregnancy. Urine tests are sometimes not picking up the hCG levels for at least 2 weeks of pregnancy (which is all the time you realize you missed period). If a blood test that shows the determination of high levels of hCG that is pregnant, but a urine sample says no, you're still pregnant. Blood is always stronger than the urine. And there is a difference in sensitivity. I do not know why I say that is not there. Physician Assistants not even know that the blood pregnancy test is always more sensitive than a urine test. =)
